The 2018 Commerce Week of BSC was held from the 12th March 2018 to the 16th March 2018. The highlights of the opening day of the Commerce Week included, the launch of the 5th edition of the Bizanomics Magazine and a speech by the Guest Speaker Mr. Jiffry Zulfer.
Being a young entrepreneur himself, Mr. Zulfer made an inspiring speech on ‘Passion, purpose and positivity’.
‘Bizanomics’ is a subject based magazine created by the Commerce students of BSC and over the last few years it has served as a strong platform for our students to display their diverse interests and skills and showcase their knowledge in Commerce. After a short speech by the Editor in Chief and the Assistant Editor of the Bizanomics Magazine, the magazine Committee members presented the first few copies of the magazine to the Senior Management Team and the Guest Speaker.
The rest of the week passed on with Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 having separate assemblies where they faced exciting and challenging Quiz Competitions which included Trade Mark and Logo rounds and well as subject based rounds.
These competitions were planned and organized by the Commerce Society members. Commerce as well as non-Commerce students were encouraged to participate in these competitions.
The Commerce Week 2018 ended on the 16th March. During the Friday Morning assembly, some of the Year 10 Commerce students shared their Charity project experience with the audience.
Thereafter, the Commerce students showed a video reflecting their activities throughout the year. This was followed by the Magazine article winners and some of the Commerce Society Office bearers being offered rewards for their hard work and tireless contributions.
That marked the end of a successful Commerce Week for the students of BSC.
