Assistant School RegistrarOur aim to complete the application process within 4 working days.
(For a smooth process please kindly submit all the required documents altogether.)
1. Review of Application Documents – The Admissions Office will review all submitted forms and supporting documents.
2. Initial Meeting – A meeting will be scheduled with the Head of Junior/Senior School or the Head of Early Years to discuss your child’s educational background and suitability. (A school tour will be given before/after).
3. Trial Day and Student Assessments – Junior School: Students will be invited for a Trial Day and undergo placement assessments.
Senior School: Students will be required to complete academic assessments as part of the admissions process.
4. Selection/review - Head of Junior/Senior School or the Head of Early Years will review the outcome.
Year groups for students at BSC are based on the English National Curriculum. Our school begins at the Junior School with our Early Years Foundation Stage, consisting of Playgroup, Nursery and Reception. The Junior School includes Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2) and Key Stage 2 (which includes Years 3, 4, 5 and 6). After Year 6, children pass to the Senior School which includes Key Stage 3 (Years 7,8 and 9) Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11) and finally Key Stage 5 (Years 12 and 13).
