Dr Scarth has been with BSC since January 2012. Previously, he has been Principal of international schools in Oman and Jordan as well as Head teacher of both maintained and independent schools in the UK.
Dr Scarth is an Honorary member of the British School in the Middle East (BSME).
Outside school, Dr Scarth can be found with his wife Irene at the Royal Colombo Golf Club, where he is a passionate member. His two sons both work in the UK but are frequent visitors to Sri Lanka.
