The BSC MUN Society selected and sent to LISMUN a delegation of Junior Delegates this year, hoping to train them earlier than usual, as in previous years, only Year 10s have been eligible to participate in MUN Conference. This year however, we took Year 9 students primarily, and gave them an experience to remember!
The Conference took place from the 15th-17th of December at Lyceum Nugegoda, and our students represented themselves in true BSC fashion; with dedication and excellence.
Husein Esufally managed to win a 'Higher Commendation' award at the Closing Ceremony, adding to his MUN trophy cabinet yet again, and made our school very proud! Janek and Migara were exceptional Chairs at this Conference, and my heartfelt thanks goes out to our students for participating.
Chanya and Avantha did well to ensure our teams were well-taken care of, and we now look towards COMUN which is coming up in March, 2018.
